Our Formula

We use a simple formula to calculate if a toll is "worth it":

Example

If a toll road saves you 10 minutes and costs $2.50:

• At $0.20/minute ($12/hour): 10 × $0.20 = $2.00 → Not worth it
• At $0.30/minute ($18/hour): 10 × $0.30 = $3.00 → Worth it

Data Sources

We use Google Maps API to calculate routes and estimate travel times. Toll prices are based on available public data from the Google Maps Routes API and may not always reflect current prices.
